About
Klena is a technology-driven waste management initiative under TerraChain Technology Ltd, focused on transforming how communities manage and dispose of waste in Ghana. Our mission is to provide clean, reliable, and efficient waste collection services while promoting recycling and environmental sustainability. Operating from Kumasi, Klena combines community engagement with simple digital tools to make waste collection more accessible and accountable. We offer door-to-door waste pickup, plastic recovery, sorting services, and environmental education programs that encourage households and businesses to adopt responsible waste habits. Klena aims to reduce pollution, improve sanitation, and create green jobs for youth. Our model integrates waste tracking, recycling partnerships, and community sensitization to ensure that waste is collected safely and diverted from landfills whenever possible. As a growing social enterprise, Klena is committed to expanding its operations, partnering with local authorities and environmental organizations, and contributing to Ghana’s circular economy. Our long-term goal is to build a cleaner, healthier environment while empowering communities to participate in sustainable waste practices.
