About us

Helping Ghanaian Young Entrepreneurs to Start, Grow and Scale-up Sustainable businesses

The Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE), formerly known as Ghana’s Young Entrepreneurs(GYE), is the national association of young business owners from all private enterprise sectors. GCYE is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 with the mission to unite, engage, and promote the businesses and innovations of young entrepreneurs in Ghana. GCYE has over 19,000 members and is registered with the Registrar of companies, Ghana Social Welfare and the National Youth Authority (NYA) as a Non-Governmental Organization. GCYE is a member of the Private Enterprise Federation (PEF), Youth Business International (YBI) and Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs- Africa (CAYE Africa).

What We Do

Advocacy
GCYE engages in policy discussions and advocacy to enhance the conditions and opportunities for youth entrepreneurship and private sector development in Ghana.
Training & Capacity Building
We leverage our network of experienced industry leaders to offer our members business guidance, training and skill development in both technical and managerial aspects to improve their performance and productivity.
Funds/Investment Mobilisation
Given that access to funding is crucial for the survival and continuity of businesses, GCYE utilizes its partnerships with various stakeholders to create funding opportunities for its members.
