Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs Receives Tablets Donation from GIZ to Support AfCFTA Digitalization Agenda

The Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE) today, received tablets donated by GIZ’s support program for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). This donation is a strategic effort to enhance the capabilities of key partners in Ghana within the AfCFTA initiative, empowering them to offer improved support to their members and foster a digitalized trade environment across the country.

James Hammond, Technical Advisor for the project, presented the tablets to Mr. Sherif Ghali, CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, underscoring the commitment of GIZ to furthering digital trade and strengthening institutional capacities within the AfCFTA framework. Through this support, GCYE aims to streamline communication, increase efficiency, and bolster its ongoing mission to support young entrepreneurs, enabling them to benefit fully from the opportunities that AfCFTA offers.

Mr. Ghali expressed his appreciation for the donation, highlighting the essential role digital tools play in today’s trade landscape. “This generous support from GIZ brings us closer to achieving the goal of a more interconnected, digital-first trade environment in Africa, where young entrepreneurs can thrive and reach new markets with ease.”

The GCYE remains committed to leveraging this new resource to drive initiatives that support the AfCFTA Trade Digitalization Agenda, ensuring that young entrepreneurs are well-positioned to participate actively in the continental trade landscape.
